Samuel Larsen, winner of the first season of Oxygen Channel's THE GLEE PROJECT, will appear in his first episode of the Fox musical drama on February 14th in an episode entitled 'Heart'.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Larsen will cover the Gym Class Heroes hit 'Stereo Hearts' along with series regulars Chord Overstreet and Amber Riley. Larson's character, Joe Hart, will be introduced on the show as a recent transfer student to McKinley High.

Larsen won Oxygen's THE GLEE PROJECT competition along with Damian McGinty, who has been appearing on the show as exchange student Rory for the last several weeks. As winners of the competition, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has written a seven-episode story arc for each. McGinty's character has proven so popular that his arc was extended to a 10-episode run.

In August, Larsen told the Reporter, "Ryan spitballs ideas here and there when you sing for him. I know he looks at me as a Christian character that you wouldn’t expect to be a Christian character, which I love. I know he wants me to be the indie rocker that Glee doesn’t have."

Music from the episode will be available on iTunes on Tuesday, February 14th. GLEE airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on the Fox network.
