Film Mode Entertainment Sets Sail with Saban Films on North American Rights to VIKING DESTINY

The adventure fantasy VIKING DESTINY has been acquired by Saban Films for North American distribution from Film Mode Entertainment. This marks the latest in a batch of global sales for the highly-anticipated feature film.

VIKING DESTINY starring OSCAR®-nominated TERENCE STAMP (WANTED, THE LIMEY, MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, STAR WARS), with MARTYN FORD (KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE) and IAN BEATTIE of GAME OF THRONES fame has a special screening during the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.

Previously, the film was sold in the United Kingdom to 101 Films, in Germany to Black Hill Pictures, in Italy to Minerva Pictures, in Australia and New Zealand to Transmission Films, and in the Middle East to Falcon Films.

Executive Producer and President of Film Mode Entertainment, Clay Epstein said, "This was an ambitious first film for Film Mode to executive produce, but with such supportive partners, we are thrilled with the result. Written and directed by David L.G. Hughes, the film explores the legendary crusades of Scandinavian explorers. Incredible action sequences containing exceptionally high production value are sure to wow audiences worldwide.

In VIKING DESTINY, Odin, the Norse god of war and wisdom, is played by STAMP. The adventure/fantasy centers on a young Norse girl, the rightful heir to the Viking kingdom, who is banished after she's framed for the murder of her father, the king. The expert team behind these action sequences along with the performances by such a remarkable cast have collaborated to create some of the most innovative and jaw-dropping action sequences you have ever witnessed.

The incredible cast also features IAN BEATTIE of GAME OF THRONES fame and MARTYN FORD (KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE).

VIKING DESTINY is being produced by Andee Ryder and David LG Hughes. Executive producers include Kwesi Dickson, Clay Epstein and Tony Krantz.

The screening for VIKING DESTINY will take place on Thursday, May 10th at 11:30AM in LERINS 4.

Film Mode Entertainment is handling worldwide rights on VIKING DESTINY.
