Faith Prince And Rosie O'Donnell Return to Lifetime's 'Drop Dead Diva,' 6/6

According to Entertainment Weekly Tony Award Winner Faith Price and Rosie O'Donnell will reprise their roles as Jane's Mother, Elaine and Judge Summers respectivly, on the Lifetime Network series 'Drop Dead Diva.'

The second season begins June 6. 'Drop Dead Diva' stars Brooke Elliott of THE PIRATE QUEEN and TABOO, as Jane, a self-centered model, who dies in a car accident while painting her nails and then finds her soul reborn in the body of a smart, successful, plus-size lawyer.

Rosie O'Donnell debuted on Broadway in 1994 as Rizzo in a revival of GREASE, she also starred as The Cat in the Hat in SEUSSICAL and as Golde in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. She executive produced Boy George's Taboo on Broadway, as well. Rosie has won 5 Daytime Emmy Awards for her daytime talk show 'The Rosie O'Donnell Show,' and won a Primetime Emmy Award for Hosting The 1998 Tony Awards. Rosie's film credits include 'A League of Their Own', 'Sleepless In Seattle', and 'Harriet The Spy.'

Faith Prince won a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award in 1992 for her performance in GUYS AND DOLLS as Miss Adelaide. Faith was also nominated for both the Drama Desk and Tony Awards in 1989 for Jerome Robbins' BROADWAY, in 2001 for BELLS ARE RINGING and in 2008 for A CATERED AFFAIR. Faith was most recently seen on Broadway as Ursula in THE LITTLE MERMAID.
