Elizabeth Olsen Joins Cast of Hank Williams Biopic I SAW THE LIGHT

Variety reports that Elizabeth Olsen has signed on for the highly anticipated Hank Williams' biopic I SAW THE LIGHT. The actress joins previoulsy announced cast member Tom Hiddleston who will portray the singing legend.

Olsen will take on the role of Williams' wife Audrey Mae in the film which is set to begin production next month in Louisiana. Marc Abraham will helm the project from his own script, which is based on the 1994 book "Hank Williams: The Biography" by Colin Escott, George Merritt and William MacEwen.

According to the report, the film will include such Williams' classics as "Your Cheatin' Heart," "I"m So Lonesome I Could Cry" and "Hey Good Lookin'."

Olsen will next be seen on the big screen in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" and most recently appeared in this summer's blockbuster, "Godzilla."
