Sources tell TMZ that the season may be over for DANCING WITH THE STARS front-runner Lindsey Stirling. According to the site, the musician is in "exruciating pain" following a serious injury which occurred yesterday during rehearsals.

Lindsey and her pro dance parnter Mark Ballas were in the middle of rehearsing a rapid dance move when she suffered a blunt rib injury and possible separation. She was immediately rushed to the hospital in intense pain. Ballas accompanied the ambulance.

Should the accomplished violinist be unable to perform live on tonight' show, the couple will be forced to forfeit and leave the competition.

Stirling is also a Youtube star with more than 1.9 billion views on her channel.
