Comedy Central, the number one brand in comedy, joins forces with Superfly, the brains behind Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands co-producer Another Planet Entertainment, to launch Comedy Central Presents Colossal Clusterfest, a jam-packed, multi-format festival experience headlined by Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart and Bill Burr. A first of its kind, Colossal Clusterfest will take place at San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium from Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4, 2017, culminating in a live on-air Comedy Central special on Sunday, June 4. Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. PT exclusively via www.clusterfest.com.

Colossal Clusterfest is a celebration of comedy in all its forms. Programming will include stand-up and sketch performances, podcasts recording live on site, on-stage Q&A's, and iconic comedy attractions, along with musical performances including one-of-a-kind collaborations between musicians and comedians across five indoor and outdoor stages.

The inaugural festival lineup includes a diverse and deep roster of established and emerging talent such as Sarah Silverman & Friends, Ice Cube, HANNIBAL Buress, Tig Notaro, Pete Davidson, Fred Armisen, Natasha Leggero, Tegan and Sara, Chromeo, Broad City's Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, Bob Odenkirk, Vince Staples, Chris Hardwick, Reggie Watts, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Princess featuring Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum, and many more. The full lineup is available at www.clusterfest.com.

"Colossal Clusterfest will be a massive, shared, fan-focused comedy experience - the biggest ever produced - and we are thrilled to join forces with Superfly to launch this unprecedented comedy festival in the great city of San Francisco," said Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central. "Clusterfest will celebrate comedy in all its various forms. From headliners to comics-to-watch to podcasters to sketch to improv, fans of comedy are in store for an immersive experience that not only connects them to their favorite comedy stars, but also provides fantastic opportunities for discovery."

"We're incredibly excited and proud to be partnering with Comedy Central to launch Colossal Clusterfest in San Francisco, a city with such a deep and vibrant comedy history," said Jonathan Mayers, co-founder of Superfly. "Comedy has been core to our programming at BONNAROO and Outside Lands for over a decade and we're thrilled to be creating an experience that shines the spotlight on comedy while still acknowledging our music festival roots."

A staple of Colossal Clusterfest includes interactive attractions featuring three iconic comedy shows, Comedy Central's South Park, FXX's IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA and fan favorite Seinfeld.

Attendees can explore the world of SOUTH PARK through a themed food and drink experience served up by San Francisco's top chefs including Chili con Carnival, the tears of Tenorman will be honored with the best chili in town, and dining at replicas of the show's most recognized restaurants and bars such as Tweek Bros. Coffee, Raisins, Les Bos, Casa Bonita and Whistlin' Willy's. Fans will also be able to insert themselves into life-sized scenes built out in 2D/3D format of some of the most memorable moments in South Park's history for a photo op and dive into nostalgia with a life size Memberberry Ball Pit experience.

The IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA attraction brings Paddy's Pub to life, serving thematic food and drink such as "Beef and Beer" and "Rum Ham" and hosting interactive programming unique to the show, such as Flipadelphia and pub trivia.
The Seinfeld attraction will feature a full scale re-creation of the show's famous apartment, the world's largest Festivus celebration and a smorgasbord of classic foods from "Monk's Cafe" and "The Soup Nazi."

With a nod to San Francisco's rich food culture, top local chefs and restaurants will craft menus inspired by their favorite comedic moments. Festival goers can also indulge in some of the Bay Area's best food, beer and wine from local vendors. Clusterfest is proud to partner with several local nonprofits, including Downtown Streets Team, Larkin Street Youth and the Tenderloin Museum. A portion of all festival ticket sales will be donated to each organization to help further their missions and make a difference in the San Francisco community.

On Sunday, June 4, as the festival comes to a close, Comedy Central will give its fans massive FOMO with an exclusive inside look at Colossal Clusterfest in the form of a live 90 minute on-air special. The special will be hosted by @midnight's Chris Hardwick and will feature a team of on-the-ground comedian correspondents, taped performances, collaborations, highlights, interviews and behind-the-scenes segments from the Colossal Clusterfest weekend experience, as well as live wrap arounds from the last day. Additional information and details on the special are to be announced.

Also during the festival, Comedy Central will hold its annual Comics to Watch showcase, which features a wide range of diversely talented young comedians selected by Comedy Central in an effort to identify the best new stand-up comedians from multiple cities across the country.
