Columbia Pictures Sets Release Date for GOOSEBUMPS Film

Columbia Pictures has set a March 23, 2016 release date for the Rob Letterman-directed Goosebumps movie, starring Jack Black, Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush.
The film is a live-action big screen adaptation of the children's horror series. While straight-to-video versions of the R.L. Stine book series have been made, the project will mark the first feature adaptation of the series and could become a franchise for Columbia. The "Goosebumps" series have grossed hundreds of millions for Stine and Scholastic, second only to the "Harry Potter" series.
