Coldplay to Perform On AMERICAN IDOL Results Show, 5/3

EWOnline.com reports that British band Coldplay will make their AMERICAN IDOL debut on the May 3rd results show. According to the report, the band will be performing a song from their recently released album, Mylo Xyloto.

This will mark the second week in a row that Idol has paid homage to a band from Britain. On this week's performance show, Brian May and Roger Taylor, original members of the British rock group Queen, performed a medley of the band's greatest hits.
