Actress and singer Claudia Lee will perform a song from her debut country-music album for the first time on national television tonight, when she sings "Take My Hand" on the CW Network's "Hart of Dixie."

“I think a lot of teenagers will relate to ‘Take My Hand,’ because,” Lee said. “It has a ‘Romeo & Juliet’ message, but this song is also about just being independent and following your dreams.”

The release of “Take My Hand” follows Lee’s previous singles, the playfully romantic “Hollywood Sunset,” the country-rap “3 Leaf Clover” and Lee’s anti-bullying song “It Gets Better,” all of which have accompanying music videos on YouTube.

In addition to her music and “Hart of Dixie,” Lee is known for her work on the popular Disney sitcom “Zeke and Luther,” which airs in more than 50 countries. She is also shooting the movie “Kick-Ass 2” for Universal Pictures, based on the popular comic book series created by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. In the film, she plays “Brooke,” the leader of a high school posse and nemesis of the character “Mindy Macready / Hit-Girl” (Chloë Grace Moretz).

A native of West Lafayette, Indiana, Lee moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue a career in music and acting, and now divides her time between Los Angeles, Nashville and West Lafayette. “Hart of Dixie” airs in the United States on the CW Television Network on Tuesdays at 8e/7c. Schedules vary in other countries.
