On today's episode of ABC's THE VIEW, co-host Candace Cameron Bure announced that she will be departing the long-running daytime talk show.

The actress, who joined the show in 2015, explained to the live audience that her commitments to Netflix's FULLER HOUSE as well as to various projects with the Hallmark CHANNEL and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries cable networks led to the decision.

"It wasn't an easy decision," said the actress. "Before I started The View, I already had my commitments to Fuller House and the Hallmark Channel...Because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows." She continued, "I want to make sure I'm able to spend enough time with my children," she explained. "I thank everybody-Whoopi, Joy...for welcoming me to this table. I've learned so much from you and I'm so grateful for you."

In October, Raven-Symoné also revealed that she will be leaving the show by the end of 2016 to develop a spinoff of her popular Disney Channel series, "That's So Raven."
