CBS's UNDER THE DOME Debuts as Summer's Most-Watched Scripted Program

The second season premiere of Under the Dome was Monday's top program and ranks as the summer's most-watched and highest-rated scripted program in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for June 30.
At 10:00 PM, Under the Dome (P) was first in viewers (9.38m), adults 25-54 (2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). Under the Dome topped its nearest competitor by more than +3 million viewers (+49% over "The Bachelor") and by +16% in adults 18-49 (over "Masterchef"). Editor's Note: Season One of UNDER THE DOME'S was one of the most time-shifted programs across all platforms. Under the Dome (all 13 episodes) in DVR playback had the highest playback audience (+3.834 million viewers) of any CBS show that aired during the 2012-13 broadcast year and the second-highest of any series on any network for the same period.Recent Articles
