CBS's LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT Continues Its Run at No. 1

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT again won the week in viewers as it continued its late night leadership, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending June 16. THE LATE SHOW averaged 2.76m viewers, up +22% compared to the same week last year (from 2.27m). THE LATE SHOW was also up +17% in adults 25-54 (0.7 from 0.6). THE LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" in viewers (2.76m vs. 2.71m) by +2%. With live + 3-day viewing through Thursday, THE LATE SHOW audience grew to 3.22m, a +12% advantage over "The Tonight Show" (2.87m).

Stephen Colbert brings his signature satire and comedy to THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT where he talks with an eclectic mix of guests about what is new and relevant in the worlds of politics, entertainment, business, music, technology and more.

Featuring bandleader Jon Batiste with his band Stay Human, the show is broadcast from the historic and newly renovated Ed Sullivan Theater. Stephen Colbert took over as host, executive producer and writer of THE LATE SHOW on Sept. 8, 2015.
