CBS's 48 HOURS Was Saturday's No. 1 Prime Program with Viewers

48 HOURS: "Hannah Graham: Deadly Connections" (R) at 10:00 PM was Saturday's #1 prime program with viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 11, 2016.

The 10:00 PM hour was part of a two-part broadcast. At 10:00, 48 HOURS' regular time period, the encore broadcast was #1 with an audience of 4.67 million viewers and a 1.0/04 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. The 10:00 PM broadcast built on a 9:00 PM 48 HOURS encore broadcast, which was #1 in the time period with viewers. The hour delivered 3.51 million viewers, a 0.8/03 with adults 25-54.

"Hannah Graham: Deadly Connections" featured Susan Spencer and 48 HOURS' story of a college student with a promising future, who went missing in Charlottesville, Virginia, and was ultimately murdered. After her body was found, the investigation into her death, which generated national attention, led police to cases of other unsolved attacks against young women spanning a decade. Spencer and 48 HOURS also reported on the life of Jesse Matthew, the man caught on surveillance cameras walking with Graham who is allegedly the last person to see her alive. After a two-year investigation, police have been able to close Graham's case and two others, including the murder of another young woman.
