CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD posted season-to-date gains in viewers and remains the #1 Sunday morning news program with viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 8, 2015.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.44 million viewers and a 1.3/08 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +1% in viewers (from 5.36m) and even in adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is delivering 6.12 million viewers and a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in viewers (from 5.97m) compared to last season.

Sunday's broadcast featured CBS News' Senior White House Correspondent Bill Plante's interview with President Barack Obama; Mo Rocca's profile of playwright and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda; Anthony Mason's chat with photographer Francois Brunelle, who is shooting a series of photographs on "doppelgangers"; Tracy Smith's sitdown with legendary comedy writer, actor, and director Carl Reiner; Photographer Joel Sartore's essay on the efforts to save the Monarch Butterfly; and Steve Hartman's piece on two men who shovel a path so every day a husband can bring daisies in remembrance of his late wife of 55 years.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
