CBS EVENING NEWS Scores Best Network's First Quarter Viewer Delivery in Time Period

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY scored the Network's best first quarter viewer delivery in the time period in nearly a decade (since first quarter 2006), according to Nielsen most current ratings for first quarter 2015.
The CBS broadcast is up +1% in viewers (7.77m from 7.66m), compared to first quarter 2014. Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is up +2% in viewers (7.40m from 7.27m) and even in adults 25-54 (1.5/06) - the demographic most important to those who advertise in News - compared to last year.
