Brosnan on 'Mamma Mia!' Sequel: 'No, I Don't Think That's Happening'

IMDB reports that actor Pierce Brosnan has said that a sequel to the film 'Mamma Mia!' will likely not happen. Asked by EmpireOnline.com for an update on Mamma Mia! 2, Brosnan said, "No, I don't think that's happening."

The film version of 'Mamma Mia!' starred Meryl Strep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, and Amanda Seyfried, and was based on the hit musical of the same name.

On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago," state press notes on the show, which features in its score songs such as "Dancing Queen"; "The Winner Takes It All"; "Money, Money, Money" and "Take A Chance on Me."
