Broadway's Ben Vereen & More Set for Next OPRAH: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

In this week's all-new episode of the popular series OPRAH: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?, celebrity updates include singer-songwriter Kenny Rogers as he looks back on his legendary career; B-52s singer Kate Pierson, plus actor Ben Vereen ("Roots") and former child actor Butch Patrick ("The Munsters"). The show airs Saturday, October 15 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Voted "Favorite Singer of All-Time" by readers of USA Today and People, Kenny Rogers looks back on his legendary career, from his first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show," through the 1960s and 70s with band First Edition and a solo career that has never slowed. Rogers shares the key to his long friendship with Dolly Parton, and why he decided it is time for a farewell tour. Next, actor Ben Vereen ("Roots") shares the secret his mother never wanted him to find out, and how he gives back to young performers through the Ben Vereen Awards. Then, the B-52s' Kate Pierson introduces her wife and shows off one of the two very unique B & Bs they operate, while recalling how the band formed and the devastating impact of band member Ricky Wilson's death from AIDS in 1985. Next, the actor who played Eddie Munster, Butch Patrick, shares favorites from his "The Munsters" memorabilia collection and recalls his decades old battle with drugs and alcohol before getting sober six years ago. Plus, celebrity chef Jeff Henderson and Aquanetta Gordon, whose blind son Ben could "see" by clicking his tongue.
