Austin Film Festival (AFF)is excited to announce that its original television show, "On Story: Presented by Austin Film Festival" will premiere its 4 th season on KLRU-Q on Saturday, April 19 th, 2014. Season 4 of On Story brings the most talked about writers of Television and Film today, all in one series, discussing the stories of their success.

The fourth season of On Story will bring you 14 all new episodes featuring interviews and discussions with Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad), Beau Willimon (House of Cards), Callie Khouri (Thelma & Louise, Nashville), Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, The Walking Dead), John August (Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Ashley Miller (Thor, X-Men), Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Transformers), Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) and more. EachOn Storyepisode traces a theme through these conversations, highlighting the topic with a groundbreaking short film previously screened at Austin Film Festival.

On Story is a half-hour series that gives viewers an inside look at the creative process behind some of the most popular and beloved films and television shows. For 21 years, Austin Film Festival has brought together the film industry's most recognized screenwriters, directors, and filmmakers for passionate and in-depth conversations on the art, craft and business of storytelling in film. What inspired and informed the stories for Academy Award winning films Tootsie, Life of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire, Apollo 13, Schindler's List, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Edward Scissorhands, Toy Story and more? These are the rich and entertaining discussions the stories behind the storytellers that explain in personal terms the magic of movies that make up On Story.

The TV seriesOn Storyis part of the larger "On Story Project", a multi-platform initiative incorporating Austin Film Festival'sventures intotelevision, publishing (with the first of a planned series ofOn Storybooks published last fall), education, the public On Story Archive and the popular On Story podcasts (which delivers an uncensored, inside look companion piece to the show).
