Bolshoi Ballet's ROMEO & JULIET Debuts in Theaters Nationwide 1/21

Premiering a new staging of one of William Shakespeare's most popular stories, the celebrated Bolshoi Ballet graces the big screen with ROMEO & JULIET, debuting in cinemas nationwide for one day on Sunday, January 21. Captured live from Moscow's legendary Bolshoi Theatre earlier that same day, the production is the fourth in the 2017-18 Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema Series, presented by Fathom Events in partnership with BY Experience and Pathe Live.

Bringing audiences romance, intrigue and drama, Bolshoi's detailed adaptation of Shakespeare's heart-wrenching tragedy showcases the passion and precision of an all-star cast set to the beloved cinematic score by Sergei Prokofiev and choreographed by one of the world's most sought-after dancemakers and former Bolshoi Ballet artistic director Alexei Ratmansky.

The film hits theaters on Sunday, January 21, 2018; 12:55 p.m. ET, 11:55 a.m. CT, 10:55 a.m. MT and 12:55 p.m. PT/HI/AK (pre-recorded playback)

Tickets for Bolshoi's "Romeo & Juliet" can be purchased online by visiting or at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in more than 350 select movie theaters through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network (DBN).
