'Big Brother' Wins Sunday Slot in Adults 18-49

BIG BROTHER won its time period in viewers and all key demographics and was Sunday's #1 program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Aug. 1.

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.2/08), viewers (7.10m) adults 25-54 (2.9/08), adults 18-49 (2.4/08) and adults 18-34 (2.2/08) for the fourth consecutive week.

Compared to the same night last year, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/08), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07), +38% in adults 18-34 (from 1.6/06) and added +330,000 viewers (from 6.77m, +5%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.24m), adults 25-54 (2.0/06); it was tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.6/05, with FOX).
