Ben Affleck and Matt Damon Partner Up for New Film About McDonald's Monopoly Fraud

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have teamed up for a movie with FOX about the former cop who rigged the McDonald's Monopoly game to steal millions, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will be based on a recently published Daily Beast report by Jeff Maysh. The movie will follow the FBI operation to uncover the UNDERGROUND criminal ring, run by someone named "Uncle Jerry," who used his job as a security officer at the firm that printed the game pieces to defraud the fast food's annual promotion of $24 million in prize money over several years.

The story will be adapted for the screen by Fox's Deadpool series writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

Both Damon and Affleck will produce under their Pearl Street banner. Damon will star with Affleck attached to direct.. Jeff Maysh and David Klawans will be executive producers on the film.
