BWW Recap: THE LEAGUE Shows Its Cattitude and Does Plenty of Sinning

On tonight's episode of THE LEAGUE, "The Heavenly Fouler," Jerry O'Connell guest stars, and we have an episode full of sinning, feces, and cattitude! Keep reading for tonight's recap, but beware of SPOILERS!

Kevin and Jenny put Ellie and Chulpa Batman in Sunday School so they can get a moral boost, aka they can watch football with no kids around. Taco comes in and tells them the EBDB has been compromised by hackers "breaking through the back door," which in Taco's world means that he got into an accident with the guy from the Chinese Market, leaving his back door damaged, and later that night someone broke into his van and stole his Walkman. (Because only Taco would still have a Walkman). On that Walkman was Taco's recording of him reading the entire Eskimo Brothers database. He believes that it never would have happened before "Mark from Cuba" took over, and he thinks the Chinese are in cahoots with the Cubans, prompting Jenny to make the remark that they have a "Mark Cuban Missile Crisis."

The League finds out that Andre has rescued a cat that he named "M'Lady." (If Andre was going to name a cat something, I wouldn't expect ANYTHING else). Andre leaves the room to feed his cat, and Pete, Jenny, Kevin and Taco all marvel over the fact that Andre has made it so easy to make jokes about him finally getting some. However, Kevin believes they need to challenge themselves and not take the route of the easy joke. Jenny says that the first person to break and make a pussy joke has to give up their best running back. They all agree on the bet.

Jenny is at the doctor's and the doctor tells her she has some blockage and they need a stool sample from her.

At the bar, Pete introduces his friend Penny to the group, and she tells them about her pet grooming business for pets with attitude. After she leaves, Andre realizes he should ask her for help since he's going to do a magazine spread about professionals and their pets. This makes it very hard for the group to not use the p-word, especially when Andre asks Kevin if he can do the shoot at his house, which means he'll have "a centerfold of me playing M'Lady on your front lawn."

Andre walks away, and Kevin tells Pete he has the opportunity to prank Andre big time. Kevin tells Pete to tell Penny that Andre wants his cat groomed with "'cattitude' for days" so that M'Lady will look as ridiculous as Andre.

Jenny puts her stool sample in the freezer and covers it with vegetables to hide it. Ellie comes up to her and tells her that she and Kevin are sinners, because the worship false idols, a.k.a. The Shiva. Ellie says she learned about it in Sunday School. Ellie tells them to destroy The Shiva, and when Jenny refuses she tells her to enjoy her eternity in hell.

Pete tells Penny about the grooming, and she tells him that it could be a big opportunity for her, making Pete feel guilty for the prank.

Kevin invites Pete to play a pick-up basketball game, and says he can't because Penny is taking him out on a thank-you date. Pete tells Kevin and Taco that he's having second thoughts about the prank, but they tell him that he has to do the prank.

At the pick-up game, Kevin meets Father Muldoon and he asks Kevin where they were at Mass on Sunday. Kevin, of course, lies to the Father. During the game, Father keeps blatantly fouling Kevin, prompting Kevin to get upset. When Kevin confronts Father, he responds with "preach hard, play hard." When Kevin almost gets up in his face, he apologizes since he's a priest.

Ellie yells at Pete, Andre, and Kevin telling them that they are sinners who worship false idols while they are watching football. Jenny sends her to her room, and then she and Kevin realize that the Sunday School thing might have "bit us in the ass." Ellie overhears the group hailing Shiva and she leaves in disgust.

Taco comes in and tells them that he is informing his clients that all of their private information has been exposed due to the EBDB being compromised. Through Taco telling them about who they are Eskimo Brothers with, THE LEAGUE finds out that Jenny and Taco are Eskimo Sisters, because Taco slept with Becky, a girl Jenny slept with in college. This prompts Kevin to leave the room, shocked that Jenny never told him. Jenny follows him, and Kevin makes her promise that they will have no more secrets. As she agrees, Kevin pulls out one of her stool samples from the freezer to ice his face where the Father hit him. However, Jenny doesn't have the strength to tell him he's putting her frozen stool on his face. Ellie sneaks into the living room and tries to the Shiva while no one is looking, but it falls and hits her in the head. Kevin uses the stool ice pack to help her head, and Jenny still doesn't say anything!

Pete is remembering good memories with Penny and bad memories with Andre to try to decide what to do about the prank. He asks Shiva for guidance and at that moment gets a phone call from Penny. Back on the basketball court, Father is still fouling Kevin, and one of Kevin's teammates tells him to man up, so when Kevin and Father are going for a rebound, Kevin gets aggressive and in turn elbows Father in the face. Father gets upset and says "he's a man of God," which makes Kevin apologize and give him an ice pack, the stool ice pack. However, the pack has gotten warm, and when Father puts it on his head, the poop starts to melt out onto his face. They realize it's "excrement" and Father freaks out. Taco sneaks into the Chinese Market trying to get his Walkman back, and he gets chased out by the employees and jumps into the dumpster to hide, where he finds the Walkman, and the EBDB is saved!

Kevin, Pete, and Jenny are at Andre's photo-shoot. Penny arrives with M'Lady and reveals her "cattitude" which includes tattoos. Andre freaks out and promises to give her bad reviews on Yelp. Pete chooses the prank over Penny, and she storms off. Father comes over with Ellie because Taco forgot to pick her up. They bring Father into the garage to show hi that The Shiva is innocent, and when he goes and opens the cabinet, M'Lady springs out and attacks Father. He tells them they 're all going to hell and runs out. Taco can't resist and says, "usually the pussy is only furious at Andre" and he loses the bet!

I loved tonight's episode! This show never fails to make me laugh. I like how Ellie has gotten more time on the show now that she's older, because she's hilarious. Hearing her yell at THE LEAGUE telling them they are "fornicators and sodomites" was probably the funniest part of tonight's episode. Also, finding out that Andre is a big time Yelp! reviewer just makes so much sense and is so typical Andre. I also love how in keeping with Pete's character he chooses a prank over a great girl. He's never going to change. Jerry O'Connell had a great guest spot as the Fouling Father, and I would love to see him back again!

No Ruxin in this episode though, which is sad because he's a vital part to this show. I hope Nick Kroll is in the rest of this season, because it just feels off without him. However, the show does a great job managing without him, because it's still just as funny and witty as it is with the full cast!
