The secrets of White Pine Bay continue to emerge on BATES MOTEL! Still shaken from his gun attack, Sheriff Romero shows up at the Bates' home and demands Norma to give him the flash drive. Romero discovers the ledger of the town's weed industry, but realizes his mother's signature is present on the documents. Romero would therefore incriminate himself by releasing the record to the public. Bob Paris, his possible shooter and the man behind the flash drive's blackmail, insists that Romero join his side in order to keep his family's name safe.

Meanwhile, Dylan visits Emma's father to ask about her ailing health. Dylan and Emma have grown closer through dealing with Norman's antics and it seems he might be developing a little crush on her. Technically she and Norman are still dating, so this is just a little uncomfortable. Emma's father tells him that she may not have much time left, and he cannot afford the lung transplant she desperately needs. Dylan inconspicuously replies that he'll "be in touch." He looks into getting a job driving guns across the country in order to pay for Emma's treatment.

Norma's psychology professor (and boyfriend), James, tries to communicate with Norman after hearing about his, well, episode in his mother's robe. But Norman turns the conversation to James' sex life with Norma, and James reluctantly asks Norman he wants to sleep with his mother as well. Norman chokes James on the basement stairs almost to the point of killing him. As soon as he's released from Norman's grasp, he scrambles out of the house, insisting to Norma to get him some help.

Norma runs downstairs to check on Norman, who carefully plays off the whole incident. Norma promises never to leave him alone again, insisting that "we all go a little mad sometimes."

Some time later, Norma offers Romero a room at the motel so she can look after him as he recovers. Romero tells her about his mother's signature on the ledger and Norma tries to comfort him as best she can. The two share a brief moment where they almost kiss, but sadly nothing comes of it. I've been team 'Normero' since season one, so I'm hoping to see these two get closer! I believe Romero is going to end up being the 'lover' Norman catches his mother in bed with before killing them both. The series' inevitable end needs to come from someone Norman knows, and someone he would rather see dead than with his mother.

Desperate to reunite with his family, Caleb tries to bring Norma her favorite flowers. Norma tells him that it will be hard to forgive him, but she appreciates the gesture and invites him inside for dinner. Norman is clearly unhappy with this arrangement, but what's new? Caleb makes a toast at dinner that led me to believe he is actually in love with her, basically calling her the light of his life. Looks like this is turning into an incest love triangle- oh, joy.

To end the episode on an eerie note, Norman sneaks into his mother's room and watches her while she sleeps. He briefly grazes her thigh and buttocks area with his hand and smiles in the creepiest way possible. Does he want to be his mother or have sex with her? Either way, image of Norma staring at the camera will definitely make me lose sleep tonight.

Keep tuning into BATES MOTEL every Monday night at 9pmEST on A&E!
