BAFTA Announces Committee And Council Elections Results

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today announced the Chairs and Deputy Chairs of two of its three Sector Committees - Film, Television and Games - following the results of its annual Committee and Council elections earlier in in the month.

Nik Powell has been re-elected Chairman of the Film Committee, supported by Pippa Harris, re-elected as Deputy Chair. Andrew Newman has been re-elected Chairman of the Television Committee, supported by Jane Lush, re-elected as Deputy Chair. Harvey Elliott enters the second half of his two-year term as Chairman of the Games Committee. All Sector Committee Chairs and Deputies sit on the Board of Trustees.

At BAFTA's Annual General Meeting on 1 July 2013, Anne Morrison was confirmed as Deputy Chair of the Academy, and John Willis entered the second year of his two-year term as Chairman.
