Audra McDonald to Perform on ABC's THE VIEW Today

Audra McDonald, star of Broadway's 'Porgy & Bess', is scheduled to perform on ABC's daytime talk show THE VIEW today, January 19th. Other guests for this week included Oscar™ winner Cuba Gooding Jr., ("Red Tails"), Liam Neeson ("The Grey"), Thomas Horn and Max Von Sydow ("Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"), John Qui–ones (ABC News' "What Would You Do?"), chef Michael Symon (ABC's "The Chew") and Tim Gunn (ABC's "The Revolution").

Audra McDonald became a three-time Tony Award winner by the age of 28 — for her performances in Carousel, Master Class, and Ragtime. McDonald appeared as Lizzie in the Roundabout Theatre Company's 2007 revival of 110 in the Shade, directed by Lonny Price at Studio 54, for which she shared the Drama Desk Award for Best Actress in a Musical with Donna Murphy. She is currently starring opposite Norm Lewis in The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess.

THE VIEW, a live, one-hour daily talk show from Time Square Studios, features Daytime Emmy Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colorful conversations. The show airs weekdays at 11:00 am/ET on the ABC network.
