THE LIFEBOAT follows Grace Winter, a widow on trial for murder in 1914. Winter tells the tale of how she survived the sinking of a ship, the Empress, by boarding a lifeboat with her new husband. In the process, she reveals that squabbles between the survivors ended up costing one, or some, their lives.

Hathaway recently won a Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA Award and the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in February for her performance in the global blockbuster Les Miserables.

She will next appear in Don Jon, Song One and Interstellar. Other credits include: The Dark Knight Rises, Love & Other Drugs, Alice in Wonderland, Rachel Getting Married, Brokeback Mountain, Becoming Jane, The Devil Wears Prada, Ella Enchanted, The Princess Diaries and more.
