Adele's New Single 'Hello' Sells Record 1.1 Million Downloads

USA Today reports that Adele is once again breaking music industry records as her newest single 'Hello' tops the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart its debut week, selling a record 1.1 million downloads, according to Nielsen Music. In addition, 'Hello' is the first song ever to sell at least 1 million copies in a week and smashes the previous record set by the previous biggest seller: Flo Rida's Right Round, which sold 636,000 downloads one week in February 2009, according to Billboard.

'Hello' also gives Adele her fourth No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. Since it the music video's debut on Oct. 22, Hello has garnered an amazing 196.3 million views on YouTube. (check it out below!)

Adele's third album, 25, will drop on Friday, November 20th.
