ADDAMS FAMILY Star Ken Weatherwax Dies at 59

According to TMZ, Ken Weatherwax, best known for his role as 'Pugsley' on THE ADDAMS FAMILY TV series, has passed away after suffering a heart attack. He was 59.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY was adapted from a New Yorker cartoon from the 1930s and ran on television from 1964 to 1966.
Weatherwax returned to voice 'Pugsley' in the '70s version of the series and later played 'Pugsley Sr.' in the TV movie HALLOWEEN WITH THE NEW ADDAMS FAMILY in 1977.
Weatherwax eventually left the screen but not the biz, choosing to work behind the scenes as a grip and set builder. He also appeared in several commercials.
