On its post-election telecast on Wednesday (11/9/16), "Good Morning America" delivered its top telecast in Total Viewers (6.554 million), Adults 25-54 (2.224 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.768 million) in more than 1 1/2 years - since 2/23/15, 3/5/15 and 3/5/15, respectively. "GMA" saw double-digit gains week to week (4.564 million, 1.516 million and 1.131 million, respectively, for w/o 10/31/16) in Total Viewers (+12%), Adults 25-54 (+12%) and Adults 18-49 (+14%) to hit new season highs. In fact, "GMA" delivered its strongest numbers in all 3 measures in 8 months - since weeks of 2/29/16, 3/7/16 and 2/29/16, respectively. "GMA" improved on the same week last year (4.970 million, 1.657 million and 1.139 million, respectively, for w/o 11/9/15) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+3%), Adults 25-54 (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%). Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, leading "Today" by 140,000 (4.597 million vs. 4.457 million) to take the top spot at this point of the season for the 5th year in a row.Videos
