CBS News' 48 HOURS: "Ambushed" was Saturday's #1 program in viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 16, 2013.

48 HOURS: "Ambushed" (10:21-11:21 PM) delivered a 3.5/07 with 5.04m viewers, and a 1.4/04 in adults 25-54, the demographic most important to those who advertise in news. In the 10:30 PM half-hour, 48 Hours was first in both viewers and households.

Saturday's broadcast featured TRoy Roberts and the 48 Hours team's report on the murder of David Jackson and the investigation to find his killer. The case was cold for several years until it was handed to a new detective. In an incredible twist, Jackson's son saw a missing persons' poster that included his dad's picture while at a police station for a meeting of teens interested in police work. What he would tell investigators would ultimately blow this case wide open and expose an unusual web of family deceit and murder.

48 HOURS: "Ambushed" is produced by Patti Aronofsky, Pete Shaw, Tamara Weitzman and Alec Sirken. George Baluzy, Marlon Disla, Jud Johnston and David Spungen are the editors. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.
