ole, the world's fastest growing independent rights management company, announced it has picked up its option on Canadian country music artist Meghan Patrick to extend the existing, worldwide co-publishing deal. Patrick first signed with ole in 2015, augmenting her previous deal with ole and ole co-venture partner Jackoby Music. Patrick is also a Warner Music Canada recording artist.

Patrick's new album, Grace and Grit, launched in Canada on April 29th and has already spawned a hit single with "Bow Chicka Wow Wow." The track broke a record with the most first-week adds for a debut single by a Canadian female artist on Mediabase at Canadian country radio. The song was produced and co-written by fellow Canadian Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.

Patrick has followed up that breakthrough with her second single, the album's powerful title track which debuted on radio, along with a new video on CMT Canada, in early June. She will also maintain an active performance schedule in Summer 2016, including opening for Lady Antebellum at Calgary Stampede on July 15th.

"The songwriters and artist support of ole have proven to be a tremendous resource," Patrick says. "They're the perfect partner at this important stage in my career."

"Together, Meghan Patrick and ole have great momentum," says John Ozier, Vice President, Creative of ole. "This extension of ole's commitment underscores our belief in Meghan and continued aspiration of finding her a global audience, as ole's artist development program continues to build success stories."
