Wanda Music Announces Startegic North America Distribution Deal

Wanda Music Inc. announced today the signing of a strategic North American distribution deal. Wanda Music Inc. has entered into a distribution deal for North America with Independent Label Services Group (ILS) via its sub-distribution arrangements with Universal Music Canada / Caroline Distribution / Capitol Music Group / Universal Music Group.

Wanda Music Inc. is an international recording label, live events promoter, talent management and booking agency headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan representing a diverse roster of artists including American pop/rock band Hobart Ocean.

ILS provides third party labels with distribution, marketing and promotion services through Universal Music Canada.

Caroline Distribution, founded in 1983, has become one of the U.S. music industry's largest third party distribution companies for the independent music sector. Caroline became part of EMI when EMI acquired Virgin in the early '90s. The company is currently part of the Capitol Music Group.

Universal Music Group is the largest music corporation in the world. An American-based, French-owned multinational music corporation, it currently operates as a subsidiary of Paris-based media conglomerate Vivendi. UMG also owns Universal Music Publishing Group which is the second largest music publishing company in the world.
