VIDEO: SONI withanEYE Releases New Music Video for REBEL

New York nightlife staple and SONI withanEYE releases newest video "Rebel," the title track for her debut full-length album Rebel, coming out April 20th and produced by Tony Touch. To celebrate, SONI will be having an album release party at The Blue Note in NYC on 4/20, with special guests and a live band.

A Queens, New York native with Puerto Rican roots, SONI has been involved in the local music scene for as long as she can remember. What started as a love of singing in her school's choir evolved into a fascination with a variety of instruments. She's DJed all around the world, and has multiple New York residencies like her current 'Extra Saucee' party at Hotel Chantelle, and her 'LOVEBREAK!' party at Common Ground Bar.
A music lover with varied tastes, SONI notes everyone from B-52s to Beastie Boys as musical influences. She says of her music, "I would love for my music to create emotion, joy, consciousness, compassion. There are many different emotions and a strong personality I project through my music, that's influenced by my experiences, friends and family, as well as the different genres I've been exposed to growing up."

She stacked her album, Rebel with absolute legends like Raekwon, Questlove, Mobb Deep, and Tony Touch. Fans can expect the long-awaited album to step outside of genre boxes, and to thrill along the way.
