The Town Hall, Broadway's landmark theatre and concert venue, announces its 91tst Anniversary season with a star-studded lineup that includes some of the biggest names in television, theatre and music. Headliners include Grammy nominated musician David Bromberg with the legendary Allen Toussaint as a special guest, the acclaimed musical comedy troupe Capitol Steps, The Soul of Cuba: Sierra Maestra, Tony Award® winner Lea Salonga, Tony Award® Winner and 30 Rock star Jane Krakowski, Grammy Award® Winners Loudon Wainwright III, Judy Collins and Madeleine Peyroux.

Tickets are $55, $50 and $45. Saturday March 3, 2012 at 8pm- DAVID BROMBERG BIG BAND WITH SPECIAL GUEST- THE LEGENDARY Allen Toussaint
Music icon, David Bromberg has artfully interpreted blues, folk, rock & roll, jazz, pop, bluegrass & gospel for over forty years. A Grammy nominated artist, Bromberg has collaborated in sessions with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, the Grateful Dead and dozens more. 73 year-old composer, arranger, producer, pianist, singer andNew Orleans native Allen Toussaint, will be a special guest. The music legend has collaborated with and has had his music covered by Elvis Costello, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul McCartney, and Phish. Toussaint is a music world treasure. Friday, March 23rd at 8pm- Capitol Steps
Returning to the Town Hall, The Capitol Steps are celebrating their 30th anniversary by performing songs from their 30th album and most recent release, Desperate Housemembers, as well as brand-new songs in step with breaking news. The Capitol Steps received a Drama Desk nomination for outstanding lyrics, and won a "Washington Post Best Bets" award. They have been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and can be heard nationally on Public Radio. Capitol Steps puts the "MOCK" in democracy…but Congress can probably say the same thing. Saturday, April 21st at 8pm- SOUL OF CUBA: SIERRA MAESTRA
Latin Grammy Nominated band Sierra Maestra, founded in 1976, has played a key role in Cuban traditional music. Known for being the musical soul of Cuba and foundation of modern salsa, the ensemble has been instrumental in reviving and now redefining this infectious dance music for new generations and reintroducing it into the Cuban mainstream. Its repertoire ranges from classics of the Golden Age to stirring new works and includes selections from its Latin Grammy-nominated album Sonando Ya (World Village). Tony, Olivier Award-winning star and recording artist Lea Salonga continues to enchant audiences worldwide. Well known for her lead performances in the Broadway hits Miss Saigon and Les Miserables, Salonga is probably best known to the public as the voice of Disney's animated heroines of Mulan and Aladdin.The Journey Continues... an intimate evening that features a selection of Broadway tunes, standard classics, and today's hits, as well as personal stories of her incredible journey that has spanned decades. Johnny Cash, Earl Scruggs, Kate and Anna McGarrigle and son Rufus Wainwright have all performed Wainwright's songs. Friday June 1st at 8pm- AN EVENING WITH Judy Collins AND MADELEINE PEYROUX
Grammy-winning singer/songwriters Judy Collins and Madeleine Peyroux will be entertaining the audience with an evening of music. Each artist will have their own band to play their unique styles. Collins is best known for her Grammy-winning interpretation of Stephen Sondheim's Send In The Clowns and has entertained worldwide audiences with her folk songs with contemporary themes. Her 1967 album Wildflowers was entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Known for her interpretation of Patsy Cline's Walking After Midnight, Peyroux is known as being the 21st century Billie Holiday. Following her work on her albums Careless Love and Half The Perfect World, which brought Madeleine enormous success, she was honored at the BBC Jazz Awards for Best International Jazz Artist. Tony Award winner and three-time Emmy nominee Jane Krakowski has a knack for scene stealing roles, on stage where she earned a Tony Award for her role in the revival of Nine and screen where she is known for her three time Emmy nominated role of Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock. Built in 1921 by a group of suffragettes, The Town Hall began as a lecture hall and public forum for debates. Over the decades,the stage has been graced by Eleanor Roosevelt, Margaret Sanger, Billie Holiday, Igor Stravinsky, Bob Dylan and MiLes Davis and most recently, The Dalai Lama and President Obama.
