The Shelters Embark on SiriusXM's 'AltNation Advanced Placement Tour' This November

By: Sep. 12, 2016

The Shelters confirm new tour dates in October supporting Band Of Horses and will also appear at upcoming festivals including Life Is Beautiful, Austin City Limits, Petty Fest, Voodoo, Taste Of South Lake Festival and Kaaboo. Additionally, the band will embark on the SiriusXM "AltNation Advanced Placement Tour" this November with The Hunna and Night Riots. See below for complete tour dates.

Most Recently, the band made their late night debut on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" with a performance of their hit single "Rebel Heart." Watch here: http://bit.ly/29zdaxV.

The Shelters' self-titled album is the follow-up to the band's four-song EP, which was released last October. Both the EP and the album were co-produced by one of the band's musical heroes, Tom Petty, with all songs written by band members Chase Simpson (vocals, guitar) and Josh Jove(vocals, guitar).
In addition, the band performed "Rebel Heart," Fortune Teller" and "Nothin' In The World Can Stop Me Worryin' 'Bout That Girl" at the Paste studio, who calls their performance "...a feel-good Southern California vibe that has been missing from rock 'n' roll since the '70s."
The Shelters are Simpson, Jove, Sebastian Harris (drums) and Jacob Pillot (bass).
