THE VOICE's Luke Wade to Play Ridgefield Playhouse, 4/19

Fresh off this past Season 7 of the TV sensation The Voice, Luke Wade stood out. In fact, the Texas soul singer finished in the Top 8 and was one of Pharrell Williams' understudies. The Dublin born soul singer, who grew up in Texas, never let any of his ailments -- from being blind in one eye, to overcoming temporary brain damage -- stand in the way of making his dreams come true. In fact, it was having this unusual perspective on life that made Luke the singer/songwriter he is today. He will be in concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m. The release of his new album The River is a culmination of Luke Wade's story. Special guest is Greg Oliveras, a Wilton, CT native, who is a pop-rock composer, performer and recording artist whose new release is entitled Envision a World EP, now available now via SoundCloud. Each ticket holder gets a complimentary glass of wine or beer in the lobby beginning at 6:45 p.m. for a mix & mingle before the show. Wade's music is described as honest lyrics wrapped in infectious melodies sung with just enough power and delicacy to put the audience inside the message of each song.
