El Portal Theatre in association with 3000 Miles Off Broadway Productions (a division of Rock N Roll Inc.) proudly presents THE LONG RUN - Experience The Eagles - the greatest hits of THE EAGLES Acoustic Style! at El Portal's Monroe Forum Theatre, in the NOHO Arts District, North Hollywood, CA. This exclusive engagement will run December 4 -14, 2014, 10 performances only!

Since their debut in 2000 THE LONG RUN - Experience The Eagles has earned its place among the top-drawing tribute acts in North America and is widely regarded as the finest Eagles concert show (short of The Eagles themselves) working today.

Marked by lush vocal harmony and exceptional musical accuracy each TLR performance delivers a reverence for the beloved studio recordings blended with The Long Run's own live concert personality.

This year the group was awarded the honor of representing The Eagles and their music on AXS-TV's hit series The World's Greatest Tribute Bands. The 90-minute concert was broadcast live from Hollywood to millions of homes across five countries. The show's host and producer Katie Daryl and research staff look at bands both nationally and internationally vetting each group for not only its quality and faithful representation of the music, but also their popularity, their presence in social media and their ability to connect with their audience.

In this rare "UNPlugged" concert THE LONG RUN performs The Eagles greatest hits acoustically, up-close and personal, with pristine sound in the wonderfully intimate Monroe Forum Theatre.

In a recent interview the band's leader Gary Grantham said, "We do only a handful of these acoustic shows each year and we're very particular about where we perform them. The sound has to be impeccable and the venue, just right. We want the audience to feel a part of the evening and to experience the live recreation of the music in a very immediate and personal way. When we're playing our fully-rig staged show, with all the lights, amplifiers, electric guitars and big sound, I think it makes us feel a little closer to The Eagles themselves. But, when we perform the music acoustically and in a more intimate setting, we feel closer to the songs. El Portal's Monroe Forum Theatre is about as perfect as it gets."

This production will feature projected imagery throughout the concert and audiences will hear many of their favorite Eagles hits, including:

TAKE IT EASY, WITCHY WOMAN, HOTEL CALIFORNIA, DESPERADO, LIFE IN THE FASTLANE, LYIN' EYES, PEACEFUL EASY FEELING, ONE OF THESE NIGHTS, ROCKY MOUNTAIN WAY, HEARTACHE TONIGHT and more!

THE LONG RUN plays December 4 through 15 with evening performances Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and matinees Saturdays and Sundays at 3 pm.

El Portal Theatre is a historic landmark in the San Fernando Valley located in the heart of North Hollywood just minutes from Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Disney, ABC, CBS-Radford and NBC Burbank. The theatre, originally built as a vaudeville house in 1926, sits across Lankershim Blvd from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Art Institute of California-Hollywood.
