Rock & Roll Photographer Mick Rock Selling Guitar Pick Jewelry Art at Upcoming Gallery Show

With anticipation building for this weekend's opening of the Mick Rock Iconic Gallery Show being held at The Jewelry Studio (1107 Old Country Rd, Plainview, NY 11803) - the legendary Rock n' Roll photographer Mick Rock himself along with respected jewelry artist Robert Pepkin are excited to unveil "Mick's Picks", their jewelry creations inspired by Rock's countless iconic images.

The guitar pick jewelry art pieces will feature some of Mick Rock's seminal photos laser-etched onto sterling silver with several frames created to hold them in place. Others will also include 14-Karat Gold embellished with black or white diamonds. These custom pieces will allow fans to choose from any of Rock's historic works to be converted into wearable art, thanks to the incredible precision of Robert Pepkin and The Jewelry Studio team, some of whom have been together for over 40 years. These creators of fine jewelry have advanced technologies from 3D Printing to Computer Aided Design (CAD) at their disposal to make each custom piece as unique as the bold images that have enamored fans of Mick Rock's classic works for decades.

The unique gallery experience will also include a collection of limited edition photographic pieces--on sale to the public--book signings, meet-and-greet red carpet opportunities, and more. With exhibits ranging from classic portrait pieces of LI natives like Joan Jett and Lou Reed to Mick Rock's quintessential album covers from the late 60's through today including Lou Reed's "Transformer", Iggy Pop's "Raw Power", The Ramones "End of the Century", and works from his incredible creative partnership with David Bowie - attendee's can view and purchase copies of some of the most legendary images in music history. And with the upcoming release of Queen's biopic Bohemian Rhapsody in theatres this November, the collection will include some of Mick's timeless works with the band including their "Queen II" and "Sheer Heart Attack" album covers!
