R&B Artist Renzo Teams with PowerHouse Music Group, Kevin Wales for New Single
Virginia born Rensie C Mathis professionally known as Renzo now travels across the globe recording songs and performing live. His talents led him to one of the most respected A&Rs in the music industry, Mr. Kevin Wales with PowerHouse Music Group. Mr. Wales has a successful track record with proven knowledge of how to break an artist. Wales believes Renzo is an artist who can reach the next level in the industry.
Renzo's style of music is a versatile mix of Pop and R&B. He takes pride in writing his music, which was showcased in 2009 at the 3rd Annual DMV EMAS where he was nominated for: Best Singer/ Songwriter of DC Maryland, and Virginia. Musically inspired by his father, who raised him to listen to legendary artist such as Al Green and Frankie Beverly helped Renzo find his voice at an early age. He began to lock himself in his room perfecting his writing and singing abilities. Renzo's talents eventually lead him to hit the studio with producer J Marlon who has worked with Kelly Rowland, Wale, and Jason Derulo among others.
Renzo started performing at major venues in the Virginia and DC area before expanding his sites nationwide, nabbing a spot at the SisTrunk Festival in Florida. Taking a leap further into the international market, he slayed shows at Club Mansion in Panama, and Champs in London, England.
With much anticipation for the worldwide release of his first single "LETS ROLL" and his debut album is expected to drop mid June 2013.
