Penobscot Theatre Company Artistic Director, Bari Newport says, "I have been eager to bring The Maine Jewish Film Festival to Bangor, since arriving here last January. Thanks to support from Rabbi Justin Goldstein and Rabbi Darah Lerner, we are able to bring a small piece of this year's MJFF to Bangor. The great thing about this film, aside from the fact that screenwriter Wendy Kout is also a terrific playwright, is that it is certainly a film that can be enjoyed by people of all denominations - as long as they like to laugh."
