The New York City Center and "Good Housekeeping" will present "Shine On," a benefit concert for the National Women's History Museum on April 12. The proceeds will help the museum establish its first permanent location in Washington, DC.

The concert will feature Kristen Bell, Laura Benanti, Ann Hampton Callaway, Fran Drescher, Kelli O'Hara, and Meryl Streep.

Kristen Bell made her Broadway debut in 2001 as Becky Thatcher in THE ADVENTURES OF Tom Sawyer. In 2002, she appeared in the Broadway revival of THE CRUCIBLE with Liam Neeson, Angela Bettis and Laura Linney. Her film and TV credits include "Veronica Mars," "Heroes," and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

Laura Benanti has appeared on Broadway in the 1998 revival of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, SWING!, INTO THE WOODS, NINE, THE VIOLET HOUR, THE WEDDING SINGER, and IN THE NEXT ROOM (OR THE VIBRATOR PLAY). For her role in GYPSY, Benanti won the Tony for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical, and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.

Ann Hampton Callaway is a multiplatinum-selling singer, composer, lyricist, pianist, and actress. She is best known for writing and singing the theme to the TV series "The Nanny," writing songs for Barbra Streisand and starring in the Broadway musical SWING! For which she received a Tony Award nomination for "Best Featured Actress in a Musical." for She also won the Theatre World Award for "Outstanding Broadway Debut". She has recorded and performed the award winning show SIBLING REVELRY with her sister, Broadway star Liz Callaway. Callaway is associated with her tireless devotion to The Great American Songbook and has produced two critically acclaimed public television specials called "Singer's Spotlight With Ann Hampton Callaway" featuring guests Liza Minnelli and Christine Ebersole.

Kelli O'Hara has been nominated for three Tony Awards: for her performance as Clara Johnson in THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA;; for her performance as Babe Williams in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of THE PAJAMA GAME, where she starred alongside Harry Connick, Jr. and Michael McKean; and, most recently, for her performance as Nellie Forbush in the Lincoln Center Theater revival of SOUTH PACIFIC.

Meryl Streep made her professional stage debut in 1971's The Playboy of Seville. She was Nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her role in 27 WAGONS FULL OF COTTON. She recently starred in the film version of MAMMA MIA!

The event will honor American women of the past 125 years who have been influential- including figures such as Susan B. Anthony, Dorothy Parker, Madonna, and Martha Stewart.
