No.1 For a Third Time! ONE DIRECTION Scores Huge Milestone in Music
Great news for One Direction fans! The UK pop group will now officially go down in history. Why, you may ask? Well, in addition to having the loving admiration and adoration of millions of girls world-wide, Billboard has reported that they have now become the first musical group in history to have three consecutive No.1 albums.
That's right, they beat Spice Girls, Girls Aloud, TLC, and The Backstreet Boys. Looks like we'll be hearing more from these guys in the future!
The boys have already amassed a HUGE following- including some major celebs, and seem to have no plans of slowing down.
One Direction's first album, "Up All Night," followed by "Take Me Home," are the previous No.1 hits for the crooners. This makes "Midnight Memories"-even the title is swoon worthy-a mile marker for the music industry.
Looks like other bands might want to follow their lead...
