New Music Web Series INDIE ACROSS AMERICA to Premiere Tomorrow on Blip.com
Former MTV VJ and pop culture aficionado Dave Holmes is once again sharing his passion for music with America. In the new web series Indie Across America, sponsored by GEICO, Holmes tracks down the most talented indie bands across the country and gives them a chance to share their stories and their music. The 8-episode web series premieres tomorrow, September 24th, at Blip with new episodes and an original music video released each week.
Indie Across America shines the spotlights on eight indie bands making it happen in Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Boston, San Diego and Los Angeles. Each episode features an exclusive interview with the band by Dave Holmes and a hometown concert that showcases each band's unique sound.
"There are so many talented musicians out there that no one knows about because they aren't signed by a big label," said Holmes. "It was nice to be able to sit down and talk with these bands, watch them put on a great show, and give them the exposure they deserve."

New episodes of Indie Across America will premiere weekly, along with a new music video from the featured bands, every Tuesday through November 12th:

Dave Holmes follows these indie bands across the country and gets the scoop on their music business dreams and realities. With his music credibility, and having recently been named one of NPR's Favorite Pop Culture Personalities, Holmes is the perfect choice to introduce America to these artists and their stories. The Indie Across America series is directed by Jason Goldwatch with his Decon production group.
