Nct 127 Releases Seventh Album BLINGY, Marking 10th Anniversary

NCT 127 has released its seventh full-length album, BLINGY, across all major streaming platforms, alongside the official music video for the title track, 'Blingy.'

Featuring nine tracks, BLINGY reflects on NCT 127's journey over the past decade while staying firmly rooted in the sound and identity that have defined the group. The album highlights their pride in what they have built together, the bond they share, and their determination to keep moving forward on their own terms. The album's central slogan, 'CALL 127,' further underscores the message of the members and their fans coming together once again as 'One Team.'

The title track, 'Blingy,' is an explosive hip-hop song driven by distorted synths, heavy drums, and a bold chant-driven chorus. Blending elements of rage and dubstep, the song delivers relentless high energy and a larger-than-life sound, embodying NCT 127's commanding presence and unstoppable momentum. The lyrics convey the group's confidence in delivering their best performance yet, along with the pride they take in who they are as a team.

The accompanying music video casts NCT 127 as 'Seoul's fixers' on a mission to recover 'Blingy,' following a trail of everything that shines across the city. The playful storyline is paired with powerful choreography, with Taeyong also contributing to its creation.

Beyond the title track, BLINGY showcases the group's range across songs including 'Legacy,' which centers on spreading positive energy from NCT 127's home base of Seoul, and 'Piñata,' a high-energy track built around the idea of turning the stage into a celebration. 'Step Up' captures the drive to push past limits in the face of any challenge, while 'IKR' reflects the group's desire to break away from the expected and show something new. 'Getaway' offers an escape from everyday life, and 'Day After Day' carries a message of moving forward while staying true to yourself.

'127 Million Miles' and 'I mean, It's about time' bring the group's sense of unity into sharper focus. Performed by all seven members including Doyoung and Jungwoo, '127 Million Miles' carries a heartfelt message about staying connected no matter the distance. Taeyong and Johnny also contributed lyrics to 'I mean, It's about time,' which looks back on NCT 127's past ten years while making a promise to continue supporting one another and moving forward together. Together, the two tracks reinforce the group's determination and sense of purpose as they begin their next chapter.

Ahead of the album's release, NCT 127 headlined KCON LA and made a special guest appearance on NBC's America's Got Talent, where they performed 'Piñata' and gave audiences an early taste of BLINGY.

Following the release, NCT 127 will kick off their fifth world tour, NCT 127 5TH TOUR 'NEO CITY – THE REDLINE', with three concerts at Seoul's KSPO DOME from September 18–20. The tour will then continue through Jakarta, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei, with additional dates to be announced through the group's official social channels.

NCT 127 is the Seoul-based unit of NCT, SM Entertainment's global K-pop group and brand.
