New York comedy band My Dark Little Corner confirm their performance at the Magnet Theater on Friday, July 21st at 11:30pm, the final of a six-month residency.

Channeling the sound and spirit of bands like Green Day, Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance, My Dark Little Corner present an hour of comedy unlike any you've ever seen. Having performed around the country as part of the Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Cinder Block Comedy Festival, New York Sketchfest and New York Comic-Con, the band is honored that the Magnet Theater selected them to serve as "artists-in-residence."

My Dark Little Corner will be joined by musician and comedian Matt Rubano. Establishing themselves as one of the preeminent emo bands of the past two decades, Taking Back Sunday sold 900,000 copies of their acclaimed second album "Louder Now." Matt has also toured internationally with All-American Rejects and Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy.

My Dark Little Corner is directed by writer and comedian Elena Skopetos. The New York Times selected Elena's two woman play "Sister's Three" as a Critics Pick and went on to say "...the incredible pace of the play is matched by the fantastic performances of its two leads."
