He says of this series, which has previously presented the music of Arnold Schoenberg, John Adams, Philip Glass, and Bryce Dessner, "Ethnicity, religion and the way we look - none of these matters when it comes to music. What matters is that it's good music. For centuries, music has inspired us, relieved our deep sorrow and created hopes for the future. I hope to take an active part in bringing the world together with the power of music."
