Matt and Kim To DJ at AMNH One Step Beyond 1/14/2011
One Step Beyond continues its fourth season at the American Museum of Natural History, presented with The Fader magazine. During this ongoing party series, guests can dance in the Museum's Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Hall of the Universe to the sounds of the biggest names in techno, electronica, hip-hop, and indie rock.
Guests can also enjoy a complimentary screening of one of the breathtaking Hayden Planetarium Space Shows. January's feature is Passport to the Universe, narrated by Tom Hanks, which launches visitors on a thrilling trip through space and time. A beer and wine bar keeps the party going. Each ticket also includes one pass to the Museum for future use.
Matt and Kim met while taking classes at Pratt Institute in New York and began performing together in October 2004. They spent the next year performing around Brooklyn, their home base, and touring around the United States. In 2006 the band released their first album and continued to tour, performing at The Siren Music Festival and Lollapalooza.AraabMuzik, support
