NYC based independent record label MPress Records celebrates two milestones this Spring. Firstly the imprint is happy to announce it has expanded its roster to include alt-rockers K's Choice. The award-winning Belgium-based band will release their new album "The Phantom Cowboy" in the States via MPress in Fall 2015. Additionally, MPress will now be distributed physically and digitally via Independent Label Services, which is partnered with Caroline Distribution & Universal Music Group. The deal not only offers the label seamless international distribution, but also access to a suite of features including marketing, publicity, licensing and more.

K's Choice, founded by brother and sister duo Sarah and Gert Bettens, have fulfilled their musical destiny by crafting an aggressive, in-your-face, must-hear rock record, "The Phantom Cowboy". Their devoted fan base asked for it, and MPress Records is ready to deliver it to the US, UK, Canada & Ireland on September 18th. The first single "Private Revolution" will be available on iTunes May 5th.

Intent on making a muscular rock record, the duo teamed up with producer Alain Johannes (Them Crooked Vultures, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl's Sound City) who brought just the right vibe and expertise. Sarah recalled, "It was so exciting to enlist someone of Alain's caliber to work with us, and then he turned out to be so nice and compatible and so incredibly knowledgeable. It was probably the easiest record we've ever made."

Label president Rachael Sage said, "We are so thrilled to add K's Choice to our MPress family, especially as they have long been one of my favorite bands. This adds an exciting chapter to the growth of our label and with the addition of our new deal with ILS, we are very excited to be able to reach many more music lovers both in the U.S. and overseas."

MPress' catalog of over 25 releases - including flagship artist Rachael Sage's work along with releases by Seth Glier and Melissa Ferrick - will soon enter into the system of ILS, whose in-house team of results-proven experts has amassed 60+ years of combined music industry experience. The new endeavor will start with a deluxe reissue of Sage's critically acclaimed album "Blue Roses", featuring a brand new song "Coloring Book" will be available on iTunes May 25th and in stores on August 28th.
