MHD Releases New Album And Shares XIX Video

MHD's new album 19 is out now on Motown Records. The highly anticipated new album from the French Afro Trap pioneer was named for Paris' 19tharrondissement where MHD grew up and features an international cast including Diplo, Stefflon Don,Wizkid, Stromae, Salif Keita, Dadju, Yemi Alade,Orelsan and Koys-stream and share the album here.

MHD also shares his video for album track "XIX" today. Directed by Ojoz and captured in France, the "XIX" also features English lyric translation-watch and share here.

Previously, MHD shared singles "Bella" featuring Nigerian vocalist Wizkid and "Bodyguard," which has been streamed more than eleven million times to date.

An Afro Trap pioneer, MHD is set to tour the world next year following appearances atCoachella and every major European festival. Dates include Paris' 20,000 seat Accor HotelArena on March 29, 2019, with many more to be announced worldwide.

19 follows MHD's 2016 self-titled, internationally Platinum-certified debut album, as well as hits including "Bravo." MHD's music mixes African instrumentation and trap beats. His catalogue has over 275 million streams on Spotify and 800 million views on YouTube.

MHD is Mohamed Sylla, a French artist of half Guinean and half Senegalese descent. In 2015, MHD was working delivering pizzas when he began posting videos of his original freestyles on YouTube. His videos quickly went viral, attracting the attention of artists, tastemakers and professional athletes around the globe, including Drake, Stormzy, Paul Pogba of Manchester United and more. In April 2016, he released his self-titled debut album to much critical acclaim. MHD reached #2 on the French charts and has since gone double platinum.
