Lil Skies Unveils New Video For NAME IN THE SAND

Critically-acclaimed rapper Lil Skies has unveiled the official video for his track "Name In The Sand" - directed by Nick Jandora, the companion visual is available to view on Skies' official YouTube channel HERE. The track, produced by Menoh Beats and formerly only accessible on Soundcloud, is now available at all DSPs and streaming services HERE.

Earlier this month, Skies kicked off 2019 with his brand new track, "Real Ties" (produced by Etrou & Taz Taylor), available at all DSPs and streaming services (listen HERE). Skies also dropped an accompanying video, directed by Xandros and filmed in Skies' hometown of Waynesboro, PA (watchHERE). Upon release, publications were quick to praise the rapper on the rise. "Lil Skies is set to have another major year of music, and we already can't wait for him to drop another record," raved Hypebeast while Hot New Hip Hop touted Skies as "one of the most underrated artists out there" writing "Skies is somebody that you should keep an eye on in 2019." Announced recently, Skies will take his energetic live set to major festivals this year including Rolling Loud in Miami on Sunday, May 12th and Wireless Festival in London on Friday, July 5th.

Skies' major label debut mixtape LIFE OF A DARK ROSE - released just over a year ago on All We Got Ent/Atlantic Records - quickly spawned three RIAA Platinum certified singles including "Red Roses," "Nowadays" and "Lust." The mixtape itself has been streamed over a billion times, certified Gold by the RIAA, and launched Skies into an incredible year with his first-ever nationwide headline tour selling out venues across North America. Check out footage of the budding artist's insane live show in a recent Noisey Raps episode, which also sheds light on the amazing backstory of Skies' life to this point. The rapper on the rise went on to join Wiz Khalifa and Rae Sremmurd on their Dazed & Blazed amphitheater tour.

After the critical and commercial success of LIFE OF A DARK ROSE, Lil Skies continued to release new music for the remainder of 2018 including his platinum record "Creeping" (feat. Rich the Kid)," "I Know You" (feat. Young Pinch), "Opps Want Me Dead," "No Rest," and "World Rage" which have collectively been streamed over 300 million times worldwide. Hailed by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Complex, Pandora and more as an artist to watch, Lil Skies has an extremely promising 2019 ahead, with more new music and content dropping soon.
